Hi, I’m Kaity
I’m a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner turned health and wellness coach who specializes in helping you optimize your metabolic health.
What is metabolic health? It is everything in your body related to energy, metabolism, blood sugar control, down to the food we consume that powers our cells! Without adequate metabolic health we are on a path to multiple chronic diseases.

My journey Into becoming a health and wellness coach..
After 10+ years in the medical field as a Registered Nurse and now Nurse Practitioner I see the consequences of patients who have poor metabolic health. They are plagued with symptoms of excess weight, inflammation, diabetes, high blood pressure. I've seen them all! The one common denominator is they all have some form of metabolic dysfunction and maybe even never knew.Â
Then one day I decided enough is enough....
I decided to hang up my white coat for awhile and immerse myself In everything nutrition and exercise to help others like you who may be experiencing one if not all of these symptoms mentioned at any given time. I myself suffered from chronic headaches, acne, fluctuations in weight, moodiness, weird rashes on my skin. All my lab work was normal, the doctors told me everything was fine, just take this pill or that for your symptoms. Why? Why would I continue to do this? What is crazy on the outside you would assume I was healthy! But I wasn't. I was eating a diet full of chemicals, preservatives, ultra-processed foods, fast food, alcohol, and finally one day I had enough, I wanted real change!

From that moment on, my life changed.....Â
I removed all processed foods, I started researching chemicals and food additives that I was consuming daily, including artificial sweeteners (goodbye, Dr.Pepper Zero). I started eating organic whole foods, and watched symptom after symptom disappear. My afternoon slump and energy crash wasn't happening anymore. Unexplained brain fog, and low grade daily headaches didn't exist anymore. My mood stabilized when I stabilized my blood sugar and prevented spikes and crashes. Although I didn't have a chronic disease diagnosis yet, I was sure I was headed down a path to one.Â

Month 1 is all about NUTRITION.
Think you know nutrition? Im here to tell you I thought I did too! The food industry is tricky and I will teach you what to look for and how to avoid certain foods and additives.
We cover whole foods, organic vs non-organic and why it matters, sugar/ sugar substitutes and how they are destroying our metabolic health. Cooking oils and which to use and which to avoid. The different types of fiber and benefits of each. Fats, which ones are safe and which ones we should be mindful of. Macronutrients and the importance of protein in our diets. Polyphenols, what they are and why they are vital to our bodies.
By the end of this module, you will:

Month 2 is all about detoxification
The aim is to show you how many chemicals we are consuming through food, our household cleaning Items, cosmetics, and our beloved fragrances.
By the end of this module, you will:
- Identify harmful chemicals in food, cosmetics, and cleaning products.
- Why what we put not only in but on our bodies matters.
- Why the fragrances and sprays are altering our health causing headaches, fatigue, inability to lose weight, infertility, chronic diseases and more.
- Alternative products to use and resources to help navigate shopping for food and non food items.
Exercise & Lifestyle
Month 3 is all about exercise and lifestyle.
Exercise should not feel like a punishment or chore. I want to change how you view weight lifting for women, consistency, and how little changes make a big difference.
By the end of this module, you will:
- Understand the difference in aerobic and non aerobic exercises and how each benefit the body.
- Why women NEED to strength train.
- How to create a routine you love and look forward to.
- Start developing a positive mindset towards exercise and how to stay motivated.

Nutrition it the core to a healthy and balance lifestyle. This is why it is my core pillar to the metabolic reset program. Develop a healthy relationship with whole foods and the rest will start to fall into place.
Detoxification
In 2024 there are toxins, chemicals, additives, preservatives in everything we consume, food, drinks, cosmetics, etc. Teaching you how to spot these products and avoid them could be the difference in you obtaining optimal metabolic health.
Exercise & Lifestyle
Creating a well balanced routine of exercise that best fits your life is crucial for optimal health and longevity. If we do not use it we lose it as the old saying goes. Let's get moving!
